A young man was injured with a firearm this Tuesday evening in Tirana by his neighbor. Official police sources inform that the incident took place on "Tasim Shehu" street, as a result of a momentary conflict.

Renaldo Mejdani, 23 years old, was injured in this incident. He was taken to the hospital and is under the care of doctors. As for the author, he has been identified as Albert Ostreni, 49 years old, who is wanted by the police authorities.

At the scene of the incident, the investigative group immediately started work to clarify its circumstances.

"On 23.08.2022, around 21:50, on the street "Tasim Shehu", as a result of a momentary conflict, citizen AO, 49 years old, allegedly injured his neighbor, citizen RM, 23 years old, with a firearm . The RM citizen was injured as a result and is in the hospital under the care of doctors. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and to catch the perpetrator," said the police in a preliminary information for the media.
