The Police of Berat has announced the plan with the measures taken to guarantee order and safety, to prevent accidents, increase road safety, guarantee the normal circulation of vehicles and pedestrians on road axes and in tourist areas, before, during and after the development of of the pilgrimage to Malin e Tomorri, which will be held for the period 18 - 25 August 2022.

The authorities announce that there will be 185 officers on the ground with about 42 vehicles, which will be supported by the services of the FNSH-Fier Department, as well as from the Operational Unit for Road Safety, which will supervise 24 hours and manage any situation created on the road axes, as well as in the premises around the shrine in Kulmak, where religious rites will be performed.

For the implementation of this plan of measures, the Blues of Berat announce that they will cooperate with the local government bodies, the PMNZSH., the Berat Regional Hospital, the Bektashian World Supreme Court, etc.

Itinerary for pilgrims' vehicles :

The route for drivers going towards Mount Tomorr (towards Tekeja) will be:

Berat City Entrance - Kombinati Roundabout - City Ring - Uznovë Roundabout - Plirëz Crossing - Tekeja e Kulmaku.

The itineraries for drivers returning from Mount Tomorr (Teqeja) will be:

Teqeja e Kulmakut – Bargullaz – Pronovik – Poliçan – Uznovë – Berat (main Antipatrea road) - Kombinati roundabout;

Teqe e Kulmakut – Novaj – Bogovë – Poliçan – Uznovë – Berat (main road Antipatrea) - Kombinati roundabout.

Drivers and pilgrims coming from the city of Çorovodë are advised to use the road axis "Çorovodë - Gjerbës - Teqeja Kulmak" and return.

Kufizime per mjetet:

Në akset rrugore “Vlashuk Kuçovë – Berat”, ”Ura Kuçit - Dimal – Berat”, “Pobrat – Dimal – Berat”, ”Berat – Mali Tomorrit”, ”Berat – Çorovodë”, ”Çorovodë – Gjerbës – Mali Tomorrit”, nuk do të lejohet të qarkullojnë mjete të tonazhit të rëndë nga ora 06:00 – 24:00, për periudhën 18 - 25 gusht 2022.

Kufizime do të ketë edhe për autobusët, të cilët nuk do lejohet të qarkullojnë në aksin “Plirëz – Teqeja e Kulmakut - Mali i Tomorrit”.

"Me anë të këtij komunikimi për shtyp sjellim në vëmendje të drejtuesve të mjeteve që do të marrin pjesë në pelegrinazh, të zbatojnë rregullat e qarkullimit rrugor, të respektojnë kufizimet e shpejtësisë, të mos drejtojnë mjetin nën efektin e alkoolit, të evitojnë përdorimin e telefonit gjatë drejtimit të mjetit, si dhe të përdorin rripat e sigurimit."says the police announcement.

Due to the parameters of the road, in the "Plirëz - Teqeja e Kulmaku" road segment, vehicles will move in convoy and overtaking will not be allowed. Also, it is prohibited to stand and rest vehicles on the road axis.

Drivers must implement and follow the instructions of Police officers for the places where rest and parking of vehicles will be allowed.

All vehicle drivers and citizens who will participate in the pilgrimage are informed that on all road axes and the premises around the village of Kulmaku, during 24 hours, there will be the presence of Police services, who will assist and to give help in any case of need.
