The murder of the Albanian Suela Saliaj has shocked the entire Albanian community in the USA and Albania. The 32-year-old was killed by her ex-partner Renato Muhaj on Monday in Largo, Florida. The causes of the serious incident are not yet known, while the 34-year-old Muhaj is accused not only of her murder, but also of kidnapping the 8-year-old daughter who was born from their relationship, as well as violence against her and his parents.

After the serious event, family members of the deceased have organized a campaign on the GoFundMe donation page, with the aim of collecting income for Suela's burial and to support the 8-year-old girl, who lost both parents on the same day.

"Thank you all for your messages and support. Our family is in mourning and we cannot accept or believe the news of Suela's sudden departure. We miss him a lot. We will not be able to be the same people without Suela. Her daughter is with her loved ones and we are trying to give her the proper and ongoing help she needs. Suela was an exemplary girl and loved by all who knew her. Her dreams and plans were big, but unfortunately they were cut in the middle. We want to realize everything that she wished for or had in her plans with her little girl.

Suela you are always in our hearts. No one deserves your fate. You were a royal and independent girl. Every challenge in your way you have successfully won. How many people love you and write about you! I'm sorry we couldn't save you in time. You are our soul! We love you forever! May your soul rest in peace!", the relative of the deceased wrote on social networks, attached to the GoFundMe page link.

Meanwhile, Renato Muhaj appeared before the court where he was recognized with the 8 charges brought against him and was denied the right to request freedom through a financial guarantee. He showed no emotion in the courtroom.
