The police managed to find a stolen vehicle last night in Durres.

The Mercedes "GLK" car was spotted by the police patrol in the village of Gjorme, on the Milot-Tumanë road axis, while the author has just noticed the officers abandoned it and ran away, taking advantage of the darkness.

Police say they are working on identifying and apprehending him.

The vehicle was located, result of information coordination and actions between the Lezha Road Police and durres police.

Shortly after the announcement that a GLK type vehicle had just been stolen in Durres and suspected to come towards Lezha, lezha police services have intensified the monitoring and controls, with the aim of locating and stopping this vehicle.

As a result, on the road axis "Tumanë – Milot" in the village of Gjorma, from the lezha road police services, with the use of the intelligent car, the stolen vehicle was found.

The driver of the vehicle, when he saw the police services, diverted the road in attempt to leave with the vehicle, but he could not and under these conditions, taking advantage of the night's darkness, abandoned the vehicle and fled.

Close cooperation with the investigation structures of DVP Durres continues in order to capture the author and to clear and document the full legal documentation of the event.
