While the Police has announced the search for 37-year-old Diego Haxhiraj, also known by two other identities for the attack with a weapon against the officers Anxhelo Breshani and Nako Mehmetaj, the data collected from the investigations and the testimonies of the two officers show that from the type car "Volkswagen" may have been shot with two different weapons.

The Prosecutor's Office of Vlora is verifying whether any other person was involved in the event on Friday evening.

According to TV Klan, the car in which Haxhiraj is suspected to be traveling has twice encountered the car of the police officers, who were off duty and were going to drink coffee, as they had been to the gym earlier.

The first time it was the author who passed them near the Vlora Regional Hospital, and a few minutes later, the two officers entering the city, near the Partizani neighborhood, reached him and made a maneuver to pass him.

During the execution of the maneuver, they were shot at least 5 times, while the two police officers, who have been part of the blue forces for a few months, told the investigation group that they had not been able to recognize any individual.

The two police officers themselves have stated that the 37-year-old may have shot at them, as he thought he had fallen into an ambush. This track remains the most stable even for the investigators, since Diego Haxhiraj was injured in January in the neighborhood "Pavarësia" and there may be open conflicts.
