British media have revealed the tactics of illegal Albanian immigrants to escape deportation from Great Britain.
Recently, an article in the 'Daily Mail' shows that Albanian "gangs" establish links with law firms that pay medical professionals up to £5,000 to help prevent deportation through false reports.
Sources told the Mail there is evidence of solicitors receiving dubious 'forensic' reports for their clients.
"Psychotherapists and psychologists with 'weak' qualifications are paid to write reports that claim that Albanians, in particular, are too tired psychologically, so they are not able to give interviews. Officials are working to crack down on the firms, even shutting them down.
One source said: “It tends to be much smaller firms of immigration solicitors and advisers that are involved in some sort of criminal nexus. What we determined was that the Albanians involved were paying those law firms who then paid for some doctors to produce that report. There are several law firms that we helped investigate and shut down," writes the Daily Mail.
Among other things, he adds that some legal advisers do not give up. They put a different name on their company to continue the activity with the Albanians.
"In one startling case, a relative of a detained Albanian wrote to the Home Office telling how they had paid £5,000 to a law firm to free him. Incredibly, they complained about the failure to "secured their relative's release and even revealed the law firm involved. The letter provided strong evidence crucial to further investigations," writes the Daily Mail.
The Home Office has strengthened the rules on forensic reports, including who can write them.
According to a secret report of the Military Intelligence, in England, 40% of the immigrants in the English Channel, which separates Great Britain from the European continent, are from Albania. It is known that about 1075 immigrants crossed by raft in the last 6 months, while last year there was a figure of 757.
New research shows that in the past seven years, nearly half a billion pounds has been spent by the government trying to prevent migrants from crossing.
