A sensational report from France has caused controversy at Real Madrid, claiming that the club's medical staff made a gross error in diagnosing French star Kylian Mbappe.
According to "RMC", Madrid not only gave an incorrect diagnosis for his knee injury, but it is said they may have examined the wrong knee.
Unhappy and angry with the initial assessment, Mbappe sought help in Paris from a renowned specialist. The latter is said to have criticised the work done in Madrid and devised a new rehabilitation plan based on strengthening the problem area, thus avoiding the need for surgery.
Mbappe himself confirmed the trip to France and expressed relief: "My knee is fine, I've fully recovered. I was lucky to get the right diagnosis when I went to Paris."
