In a special ceremony, the Albanian Federation will honor before the match with the Czech Republic four footballers who have recently said goodbye to the national team.
Ermir Lenjani, Bekim Balaj, Odise Roshi and Klaus Gjasula retired from the red and black colors and will now receive the proper honors as a legend of the national team.
Gjasula counts 29 matches with the National Team, debuting on September 7, 2019 in the France-Albania match, while he was part of Albania in the European Championship "Germany 2024", where he found the net for the first time with the red and black jersey in the unforgettable challenge Croatia-Albania, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
With 9 goals scored, including the one against Portugal, Bekim Balaj retired from the national team after 48 games. Against the Lusitanians, he also scored the first goal with the red and black, paving the way for the first historic qualification of the national team in the "France 2016" European Championship.
Lenjani considered his presence in the Albanian national team 10 years of pride and fulfillment of his childhood dream. The defender played 45 games, scoring 5 goals, as he was also present in the European Championship in France.
Known by the nickname "Raketa", Odise Roshi was another footballer who ended his adventure as a red and black. The winger has 71 games and 5 goals, as he was part of the Euro 2016 finals.
