Jake Paul has defeated the legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision, after a spectacular challenge with 8 rounds at the "AT&T Stadium" in Texas.
All three judges gave the victory to the former YouTube star, giving the scores 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.
Tyson (58 years old) and Paul (27 years old) were supposed to meet on July 20 this year, but the duel was postponed due to a health problem that "Iron" Mike suffered during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles in May.
Tyson (50 wins-7 losses, 44 by KO) made history by becoming the youngest heavyweight boxing champion at just 20 years old in 1986 and three years later, he won three more titles to became "Undisputed Champion". He managed to defend those titles 6 times, until he suffered a shock loss in 1990 to James "Buster" Douglas.
On the other hand, Paul (11 wins-1 loss, 7 by KO) started his boxing career in 2020, where he won 6 in a row. His only defeat came against Tommy Fury in February 2023, but after that he managed to win 5 more fights in a row, including this one against Tyson.
"Iron" Mike thus returned to the ring after a full 19 years, which did not go as expected for him and for many of his fans.
