Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of Sali Brisha, voted for the leader of the Democratic Party around 16:00 on Sunday.

He threw the ballot in the ballot box and it is understood that it was a pro vote of his father who is in competition with Ibsen Elez.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha himself has described Sunday's elections for chairman of the Democratic Party as a historic process and mission.

After voting at the headquarters, Berisha said that the process is not only historic for the Democratic Party, but also for Albania.
