Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, while voting today for the race for the new leader of the Democratic Party, said that this process is historic for all Albanians.

Asked if he fears the decision of the Court of Appeals that could change things, Berisha said that there is no decision that can stop this historic mission of the Albanian Democrats.

Berisha: Let everyone participate in this historic process, not only for the DP but for Albania and vote according to their free will, according to their conscience for the candidate they want.

I said that it is historic because it is a process that finalizes the strengthening of the will of the members of this party with their vote, but because it takes place in parallel from a genuine mafia process, unconstitutional, that of electing the president.

It is mafia and unconstitutional because it is based on the robbery and rape of the free will and vote of Albanians.

Today in this process we see the light of hope for the future.
There is no decision that can stop this historic mission of the Albanian Democrats.
