Although the SP owns almost all the local governments with the exception of Shkodra, SP MP Erion Braçe says that the race should not be considered easy. In an interview for Report TV, Braçe said that it would be an unforgivable mistake for the SP if it does not give due importance to this race.

Moreover, when we come from a government that almost owns the entire SP, with the exception of Shkodra. From this point of view, to consider the race easy is an unforgivable mistake. We have entered a process of total reorganization of the SP. From an organizational point of view, the structure is set up. According to him, the forgotten communities have a great influence on the vote, so they should not be neglected.

"SP has a consolidated mechanism for selecting candidates. I say we need to do more than that. We need to do something more and consult more widely than the SP. The upcoming elections are related to a certain territory and to communities that, due to their nature, are not simply citizens, but come from the peripheral and rural areas. Forgotten communities turn into a big problem, turn into a vote against if they don't find themselves, so it is vital that the SP opens up, consults and represents wider interests than the SP itself. There are leftists in the environmentalist groups. It is important for the SP to enter the groups to make their interests the interests of the party" , Braçe said.

Deputeti socialist Erion Braçe tha se ishte pro kandidimit të Erion Veliaj në Bashkinë e Tiranës, por theksoi se ka disa gjëra që duhen ndryshuar.
