It seems that the small opposition parties will not be part of the primaries that Sali Berisha has started, but will come out with their candidates in the local elections of 2023.
The head of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule speaking on Report TV confirmed that in at least 3 municipalities, in Dropull, Finiq and Himare, PBDNJ will come out with its candidate, as he is convinced that he has enough chances to win.
And at a time when the Democratic Party continues to be divided into 2 parts, that of Sali Berisha and Enkelejd Alibeaj, Dule prefers not to position himself in any party, but emphasizes that he will seek support from both parties, without any distinction, as it is being done with the common goal of winning against the socialists. For this he says that he also agrees with Dashamir Shehin of LZHK, Fatmir Mediu of PR, Agron Duka PAA and Nard Ndoka, PDK.
"A framework agreement will be reached for one to support the candidacy of another force in the municipality that have certain features that favor one or the other. We have influence in 3 municipalities and we will ask for other opposition forces without distinction, you cannot address one and not the other, and you have the obligation to provide support in those municipalities where you have no claim. You should give support to the one who has the greatest influence. We will come out with our candidates in the Municipality of Finiq, Dropull and Himare, traditionally, we are the first force through the opposition forces and therefore the logic is to have the support of all other political forces and here you cannot make the difference. We have contacted Dashamir Shehin, Agron Duka, Fatmir Mediu as well as Nard Ndoka,, Dule said.
