The head of the DP Sali Berisha stopped today during the meeting with the DP group at the Port of Durrës project. Berisha said that the port of Durrës constitutes the biggest act of economic crime of a structured criminal organization, with which the Albanians are robbed of their number one national asset.

Berisha adds that the government or the Rama-Balluku binomial are deceiving, according to him the activity of the port of Durrës will neither be interrupted nor hindered during the development of the project.

' But these are not the only ones. Today, dear MPs, the German company EMS Shipping and Trading, referred to as EMS, addressed a letter to the Albanian parliament. The company has a 35-year contract for the eastern quay of the port of Durrës, it has an investment obligation of over 15 million euros.

The company addresses the parliament: we have reviewed the draft law and the framework agreement together with the annexes published on the Parliament's website. They conflict with the EMS concession agreement, the company finds that the government or the Rama-Balluku binomial are deceiving.

According to the explanatory report of the draft law, the activity of the port of Durrës will neither be interrupted nor hindered during the development of the project. The company says the language of the report, although vague, is not aware of a time frame within which the Albanian government is able to build a new port.

According to the contract, EMS says that it retains the right to take legal measures for premature termination of this contract, which could cost the Albanians 200-300 million euros without any hesitation. Albanians will pay the tribute, in addition to 2 billion for the new port, they will also pay the terrible fines , said Berisha.
