The former speaker of parliament, Jozefina Topalli, spoke tonight about the relationship between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim.

Topalli called Rama's behavior towards Kim a different one, as he mentioned two events that happened recently in our country, firstly the announcement by the Foreign Ministry that they have started the procedures for replacing the ambassador. And secondly, what happened in the Parliament in the last plenary session, where Ardian Dvorani was not voted as a member of the Constitutional Court.

"Within 10 days, we have a different behavior of Prime Minister Rama, especially towards the American ambassador. For example, ten days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, certainly by order of Edi Rama, announced that the American ambassador would leave, which was the most frivolous thing. It is a procedure that takes place only in the Department of State and our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has nothing to do with it, let alone make a public statement. It was embarrassing, but it was a message from Prime Minister Rama to the ambassador.

Yesterday was the second message I think. Edi Rama had decided not to vote for Dvoran, because if he wanted to, he would find the votes as he has found them other times with his friends. Dvoran, whom the State Department had declared an anti-corruption champion. The biggest surprise, to be honest, I know that he was an investigator even in the most difficult times and it was actually an insult" , said Topalli about Prime Minister Rama's relationship with Ambassador Yuri Kim

The former Speaker of Parliament in an "Interview with Merita Haklaj" on "A2CNN", also stated that miracles happen in our country, as she also mentioned the appointment of Altin Duman as the head of SPAK, while she also recalled what happened during the interview of the candidates, when the ambassador the American appeared in the hall shortly before the vote that would elect the new head of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

"The thing is to see in a different prism what is happening in the relations between them. Great miracles happen in Albania. Do you know any country in the world where the ambassador can go directly as soon as the elections for the head of SPAK start, which should be done by secret ballot, but are done by open ballot. Do you know any other country in the world that has been without a Constitutional Court for almost two years? Do you know any country that does not have a first court at all, because neither the Administration nor the Supreme Court work. Can anyone tell me who really believes that the Justice Reform has worked? You don't lie like that. This is an undeserved experiment for Albanians, with serious consequences for our country, this is the reality".said Topalli about the appointment of the head of SPAK and the dysfunction of SHISH and the courts.
