Prime Minister Edi Rama responded today to the demands of the teachers, who warned of an escalation of their protests.

Rama stated that there will be no other salary increase, apart from the 15% value already announced, which value will be covered by 7% by the government and the rest by the University.

According to Rama, the teachers are unanimous, while he raised accusations that these protests were initiated by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and former President Ilir Meta.

" Those who go out there forget that they will have another increase. Firefighters will have it, we will prepare it for pensioners, teachers, nurses, doctors, soldiers. For them my message is very simple. You are not like any of these who get a fiscal thing. You are autonomous.
