Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the decision of the Administrative Court, which unblocked the salaries for the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) and the Durrës Court.
Rama has sharply criticized the court's decision, questioning the speed with which the measure was taken and claiming that the decision is related to the increase in judges' salaries.
"If the Administrative Court had a standard for every citizen or institution in trouble, the hellish speed with which it acted today to open the doors of the treasury to increase its own salaries without the approval of parliament, I believe that every employed Albanian would be ready to forgive half of their salary to the judges," Rama said.
The Prime Minister describes the decision as "extremely disturbing," arguing that the court has taken a measure that, according to him, does not aim to stop the execution of an act, but to encourage it for a personal interest.
"But to take the first security measure in the history of the world in the blink of an eye, not to stop but to encourage for personal interest the execution of an act that likely violates the law and the public interest, while thousands and thousands of files of problems have been waiting for years in the drawers of the court in question, this is something extremely disturbing!", writes the prime minister.
Rama also referred to the attached table with the financial requests, emphasizing that, according to him, the Administrative Court is requesting the opening of funds from the state treasury without first passing it for approval in the Assembly.
"Only the independent legislative power opens the doors of the state treasury, and the Albanian Parliament will do its duty on this topic, in compliance with the decision of the Constitutional Court, on Thursday, September 17," Rama concluded.

Here is also in the attached table what the Administrative Court is requesting at the doors of the state treasury without going through the parliament at all, while I repeat: The doors of the state treasury are opened only by the independent legislative power and the Albanian Parliament will do its duty on this subject, in respect of the decision of the Constitutional Court, on Thursday, September 17.
