Rama reveals which category's salaries have increased the most in this
Edi Rama in Elbasan

Commenting on the protest of the lecturers who are demanding a salary increase, Prime Minister Edi Rama says that their salaries have increased more than others during this period.

From Elbasan, in a meeting with the residents, the head of the government said that teachers have received a 15% increase, part from the government and part from the universities.

The Prime Minister says that teachers' salaries should increase even more in the future, but not in this period of crisis.

"You know whose salaries have increased the most in this period in Albania? Teachers! That 7% has been increased by the government and 8% by the universities. By this I don't mean that I have the salaries to go and applaud the government, on the contrary, we should still increase them in the future. Fortunately, not all lecturers are. Most of them are in class, most of them are in charge of their duties, most of them show that they are worthy of that great title of citizenship that gives you the name of teacher, the name of pedagogue. But there are a part of them under the direction of a visionary of the year '97, the darkest time of the Albanian state, who seek on behalf of that non-woman and the ruble soup to create the idea through the screens on behalf of their owners, they are lined up against to the government. We are the only country in this region that does not have any pro-government screen. On those screens, see how the nami is being made. There are some who come out for medemek a big protest which does not exist. We have to understand, we are in a time when we have no possibility to stop this wave that is felt by all of Europe. We can mitigate it, but as we have done so far, we will continue to do it by starting from the bottom up, from pensioners continuing from those who are most in need, walking with nurses, teachers, military, increasing the minimum wage, called on the private sector to raise wages even more to preserve human capital and then going even higher".declared Rama.
