Eva Pango

Activist Eva Pango has left the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where she remained hospitalized after being injured in the face by a tear gas shell during the October 15 protest in the capital.

After leaving the hospital, Pango conveyed a message to citizens and protesters, expressing that the serious event she experienced has not diminished her determination to continue her commitment.

The activist thanked the medical staff for the care shown during her stay in the hospital, while emphasizing that the difficult experience has made her even more motivated.

"I greet you all from the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where I am leaving with the best impressions, not for the experience I went through, so that no one else can go through it, but for the care I received," said Pango.

She added that such experiences should make people stronger and more determined, stating that she is leaving the hospital more motivated than when she was admitted.

At the end of the message, the activist also sang the slogan "Albania is ours!", conveying her support for the protesters.

Eva Pango was injured on October 15, during a student and youth protest in Tirana, when she was reportedly hit by a tear gas shell used by police forces to disperse demonstrators.
