Rama: No oil tax will be abolished

Rama challenged the protesters, saying the Government would not remove any oil tax.

"Oil taxes will not be abolished and for this there is no protest with iPhone lights that undo it. They won't be removed, because the price of energy won't go up. This is the essence of morality and the reason for this choice, that those 650ml euros at worst we have to pay by the end of the year, we do not have the opportunity to pay them if we keep the lower taxes", Rama said.

"We have the lowest health and social contributions in the region. Not only will we keep them, but from the social resistance package we will lower taxes on pay, but for those who actually need protection. How not to bill the energy crisis for any family and small business," he added.

Rama asked for resistance.

"We will resist in the face of this war and make transparency with the price of electricity" he said.
