DP "renew" the leadership structures! Noka is reconfirmed as

In the early hours of Thursday morning, the National Council of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) completed voting for the election of vice-chairs, heads of the Secretariats and the Appeals Commission.

Without surprise and amidst much controversy, Flamur Noka has been reconfirmed as Secretary General, after it was revealed at the last moment that he was facing Saimir Korreshi. Meanwhile, Korreshi himself admitted that the decision was made on election day.

At Wednesday's meeting, he was described by Ilirjana Kuçana as a "phenomenon that must be fought." The Council member directly asked Mayor Sali Berisha about Noka's re-nomination.

Gazment Bardhi also does not move from his place as group leader, nor does Agron Gjekmarkaj, thus remaining vice-chairmen. Their names are joined by Belind Këlliçi who defeated Luçiano Boçi, Nikola Kedhi as the representative of the youth, and Erisa Bajaziti as the representative of the diaspora.

Klevis Balliu, who campaigned as vice president, replaced Ervin Minarolli as Organizing Secretary, winning against Agron Lokë.
