Dissatisfaction of firefighters, Rama: They are right, we will increase their
Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that the dissatisfaction of the firefighters with the salary increase given by the Government is right, but added that with the new budget there will be another review.

Answering citizens' questions on social networks, Rama said that at the beginning of the new year there will be another increase for firefighters, doctors and nurses.

"A salary increase for firefighters does not actually respond to the request made by them rightly, nor does it respond to our objective that it is an increase for this quarter, while with the new budget there will be another increase, as there will be for doctors, nurses and teachers.

I want to say to all firefighters, I absolutely agree with this expression of dissatisfaction or uncertainty, maybe we didn't explain it properly, this is just the first step at the end of this year to start like all the other categories for which we increased salaries, meanwhile that immediately with the new budget, how will we predict another increase to continue to face the inflation of the war for pensioners, there will be an increase for firefighters, doctors, nurses and teachers," said Rama.
