The Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, held a conference with journalists today where she analyzed the work of the department that she leads for the past year, but also the challenges of this year that we have entered.
Speaking about one of the biggest problems found, related to the complaints of students or parents, regarding the tests of the State Matura exams, Minister Kushi said that the students will have the right to receive, but also to re-evaluate their tests in case they have objections or claims for wrong assessment.
"Students will have their right not only to take their test, but if there are mistakes, a special committee will be set up, which will re-evaluate and thus the student will receive the grade he deserves. But there are very rare cases when the evaluation was wrong, since the tests are corrected by two different teachers. It will be a greater transparency so that we don't have any problems, to avoid copies, conversations between students. We will increase the number of observing teachers", said the Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi.
Meanwhile, Minister Kushi also announced that the Law on Pre-University Education is ready, which has been consulted for a long time and is expected to be sent to the Parliament for approval soon.
She added that another innovation will be the continuous communication between parents and teachers, which, according to the minister, will be automated, where at the end of each school year, parents will be able to receive their child's report card from the system. , as well as a monthly evaluation by the respective teacher for the progress of each student.
"Communication between parents and teachers will be automated. At the end of each school year, the parent will be able to print the receipt through the system. At the end of each month, the parent will receive an evaluation of his child from the respective teacher," Kushi continued.
