Petrit Doda, the youngest deputy in the Assembly, who took the seat left vacant by Alfred Rrushaj, will not be registered in the DP parliamentary group, but as an independent. He explains that he communicated the decision to the general secretary of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka.

" I went to Parliament as an opposition deputy, the democrats supported me. I remain an opposition deputy, but I am neither Edi Rama's tool nor do I want to upset the balance within the groups. They must unite and bring the Democrats to power. The leaders have their jobs in the balance. While the Democrats are on the big road, they are without jobs, without pensions. I don't want to upset the balance.

I entered the list of candidates with the sign of Legality and I consulted the decision with Prince Leka and the older deputies. I have also communicated my decision to Flamur Noka. It is meant to reformat. I'm not with Alibeaj's group, it's been misinterpreted. I have colleagues and I respect them. I told them "agree with the democrats to bring down the regime of Edi Rama ", said deputy Doda.
