Former defense minister Fatmir Mediu has been summoned again by SPAK in connection with the Gërdec case, where the charges were communicated to him.

He is accused by SPAK of abuse of office. Asked about the involvement of Shkelzen Berisha, the son of former Prime Minister Berisha, he stated that he has no knowledge of it.

Regarding trust in justice, he said that this is subjective:  the Ministry of Defense is considered a criminal structure. That Minister has been in charge of Albania's membership in NATO. Quite simply, the Minister of Defense does not know where the countries of the armed forces are, the choice of country has nothing to do with it. 15 days before the explosion, I had a meeting with the USA and the place of Gërdec was described as a perfect place .

The involvement of Shkëlzen Berisha?
