Democratic MP Xelal Mziu has stated in the Commission for Productive Activity that the police in our country imposes a record number of fines compared to other countries.
He said that the police admit under their teeth that they have to impose a certain number of fines. He said that the traffic police are stationed at the corner of the road to catch drivers.
" If you go down a street, you have two policemen on both sides. The number of fines is so great that we must have set a world record. We have also traveled abroad and you miss seeing the police. Can you refer to a statistic on the number of fines imposed in the last three years by the traffic police and the municipality.
Because in the end these go to the citizens' pockets. When I communicate with the police, they say under their breath that the number of fines that they have to impose is determined. This is painful. The traffic police come back as crooks. They come out at the corner of the thorn or in an invisible curve ", he declared.
