The draft resolution "On the validity of allegations of illegal organ trafficking in Kosovo and Albania" was discussed today in the Assembly.
On July 18, the SP submitted to the Parliament of Albania a proposal for a "Resolution" and the text of the resolution with which Albania will reject the allegations of organ trafficking.
In the resolution proposal initiated by SP MPs Taulant Balla, Mimi Kodheli, Klotilda Bushka, Etilda Gjonaj, Blendi Klosi, Etjen Xhafaj, Petro Koci, Hatixe Konomi, Bardhyl Kollcaku, Ilir Pendavinji and Arben Pëllumbi, it is stated that the SP believes that it will have "the support of all the members of the Assembly of Albania" and that with this draft resolution it is aimed at the steadfast will to help justice and support every effort that aims to reveal the truth.
While in the text of the draft resolution that is expected to be proposed to the Albanian legislators, it is stated that the in-depth investigations about Dick Marty's assertions about organ trafficking remain unargued, unproven and unfounded, therefore it is emphasized that such should be considered by internationals as well.
The agenda also includes an interview with the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, requested by the two democratic deputies, Jorida Tabaku and Agron Shehaj.
The annual report of the activity of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interest for the year 2021 will be presented in the Assembly.
