Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a meeting with all the new leaders of the branches of the Socialist Party. The meeting started at 18:00 at the pink headquarters.

The meeting was also attended by Ergest Krakulli, the son of trafficker Edmond Bego, who is alluded to have been elected head of Lushnja's SP by Taulant Balla, due to the latter's friendship with Bego.

Rama asked the new leaders to leave the past. For this it refers to those who are looking for work in the state.

"We hold this meeting so that the entire membership can attend. Following the closing of an important renewal process and a selection of SP mayors in 61 municipalities. There are 3 municipalities that must complete the process within the month of July and this is an indication of the fact that from the side of the party secretariat, in the center from the side of the organization secretary who coordinated this process, it was requested that the process be qualitative and correctional life. Sometimes more than tuk have turned a blind eye to allow fictitiousness to climb deeri to the top of the grassroots party organization.

To find you who have been chosen for party leadership on the eve of a new challenge such as the elections and the even more important units of the step-by-step transformation of the party into something else that responds to the new times we live in, important changes that happen continuously and respond to a need to keep as close as possible the people who have trusted us, who trust us and who we want to trust us.

In a new time for something different also in the sense of moving away as much as possible from the terribly old and well-worn axis of a party dedicated as a space where some complain about wanting state jobs and some seek state jobs and some they say what should we say to x or y when we are not able to give the party leader a job in the state. The party must mobilize forces to be the spokesperson of the ruling majority in the territory.

To be a party that seeks to account for the concerns that it finds in contact with people, a Party that addresses both the concerns and goals and important decisions of the ruling majority, but on the other hand, the concerns and problems of the people who trust this majority. The party of the territory, not closed in a circle of people who do their best to get elected and after being elected hang out with each other, drink coffee and talk to each other and don't talk to others. That's what I believe probably drove many of the young people to run and who are here today with the idea that they have to change that. Anyone who takes on a responsibility of this nature must have the ambition to give something new to the party.Rama declared.

Also, Rama has criticized the new heads of branches for not having female co-chairs, since there are only 5 heads.

“Pavarësisht se sekretariati e ka shprehur pa rezervë kënaqësinë për këtë zgjedhje dhe në kryesi kanë marrë vlerësim, unë mbetem i palumtur për faktin që ne kemi bashkëkryesim të partisë nga burra djem gara dhe vajza në vetëm 23 bashki dhe në bashki të tjera kemi 5 kryetare partie dhe kemi vetëm burra. Përgjigja e sekretarit është nuk ishte gra vajza te zonat e tjera. Sa herë e dëgjoj këtë përgjigje, që kur jam bërë kryetar, burrat në atë zonë kush i lind dhe me kë i lindin fëmijët me njëri-tjetrin. Nëse s’ka gra e vajza si zhvillohet jeta aty. Natyrisht që pyetja unë bëj është po aq idiote sa përgjigjja që jepet, s’ka gra  e vajza. PS na qenka një parti vetëm me burra. Duhet t’iu vi zor që vijnë nga një kompani burrash dhe do të luftojnë me një komunitet burrash për të marrë shumicën.

Kemi vënë në statut prej vitesh norma përqindje, kaq përqind gra dhe vajza dhe nëse i vëmë në statut. Statuti duhet të ketë sa më pak ët tilla se ato që ti vë dhe i miraton një kongres duhet ti zbatosh. Nëse do votonin vetëm gra dhe vajzat partia do merret 70% të votave nëse do votonin vetëm burrat humbte zgjedhjet. PS është një parti që e kuptojnë më shumë gratë dh ene nuk mundet ta tolerojmë që ne të jemi një parti në territor që të ketë një gropë të tillë, kudo qoftë”, tha Rama.
