Analyst Fitim Zekthi and Socialist MP Etjen Xhafaj clashed with each other during the debate on the opening of negotiations.

Zekthi accused Xhafaj on the show "Open" of being cynical to protect the government of Edi Rama, at a time when, according to him, they should bow down to the people who voted for them.

They even exchanged insults with each other.

It all started after the analyst Zekthi was commenting on the opening of the negotiations and the fact that Albanian politics has more important personal and party interest than the national one.

Excerpts from the debate:

Zekthi: The crisis is that we make politics about everything, even Kosovo and relations with Greece and the EU are part of the politics and interests of the parties.

We have a lustful policy.

I'm not saying that they don't want integration, but they want their personal interest more, and if it conflicts, we don't ask.

Rama said he left his bones to introduce Albania to the EU, while PD left his bones for the opposite.

No matter how much we hide the truth, the parties in Albania, as long as wealth is not distributed here

Xhafaj: (laughs)

Zekthi: You can be a hound man who acts like this, don't be cynical. Don't laugh because I'm a serious person, leave the cynicism.

Xhafaj: Don't laugh because you want me to? There is no personal insults. Because you came with a specific objective, if you can't handle the explosions...

Zekthi: I can't stand people who act like they're drunk in the studio. I don't insult anyone
