DP MP: Sali Berisha was hit with paralyzing spray during protest

The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, has stated that Sali Berisha was hit with a paralyzing spray, which according to him is a combat weapon.

"When we wanted to go to the Democratic Party headquarters, there was a police blockade. Mr. Berisha was also hit, along with some of the deputies."

"Berisha was hit with a paralyzing spray, it is a combat weapon. A policeman can use it for self-defense, but he did not attack Mr. Berisha. Sali Berisha was targeted," Boçi declared.

The democrat also stated that the police displayed absurd and aggressive behavior towards protesters on Sunday.

"Absurd behavior and aggressiveness of the police. Their behavior was completely senseless. I don't know what motivation they have for coming there."

"There is only one commander who is hiding, even when we look for him, he "snakes" among the police, like a scared man who will not be held accountable," said Boçi.
