The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared this Monday at the Special Prosecution Office under the security measure "compulsory appearance", within the framework of the "Partizani" file.
After leaving SPAK, Berisha stopped by the journalists and focused his statement on a series of accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government. He said that SPAK “had to be entered with a mask or gas mask,” claiming that the files related to the government “were contradicted on all sides.”
Berisha raised the question of why, according to him, Edi Rama has not been summoned by SPAK for various issues that he described as corruption affairs. In his statement, he mentioned the elections, the port of Durres, AKSHI, IPARD, KAYO, among others.
Berisha accused SPAK of not investigating the prime minister and used the expression "his slaves" to refer to the institution's leaders.
" I'll tell you what I found. Listen a little, please.
You had to go in there with a mask or a gas mask because Edi Rama's files reeked on all four sides. (...)
For the construction of the port in Porto Romano, Albanians have to pay 1.2 billion dollars from their taxes.
Should Edi Rama be asked by his slaves in this institution about the roads that are being built at prices 6 to 10 times higher than in Europe? Should Edi Rama be asked about the 120 million euro fine he imposed on Albanians in the Beketi affair? Should Edi Rama be asked about the meeting in Aruba, which was attended by traffickers, builders, and Edi Rama's envoys, whose names his slaves keep secret? Should Edi Rama be asked about the AKSHI, from which his family has robbed over 600 million euros? (...) Should Edi Rama be asked about the role of Ergys Agas, who is filmed and photographed in all formats? Should Edi Rama be asked about the orders he gave to Ermal Beqiri for the dirtiest operations against Albanians and foreigners in Albania? Should Edi Rama be asked about IPARD? He took as an advisor the minister who fined Albanian farmers 130 million euros of IPARD money due to their theft. Should Edi Rama be asked about his KAYO, in which he gives the company 40 million euros, buys the cars and the government buys those cars? Does such a theft scheme like here happen in the world?", said Berisha, among other things.
