Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke today on his podcast about the benefits that individuals interested in investing in agritourism can have through the "Mountain Package".
Taking as an example the story of Entela, who returned with her family to Koman to set up a guesthouse, Rama said that the "Mountain Package" was created precisely to support such families who want to invest and develop remote areas of the country.
"The municipality has done a very good job. There have been applications and winners have been announced. If you want to expand, this is the fastest way," said the head of government.
The Prime Minister also focused on the issues related to property registration, emphasizing that the "Mountain Package" can also help citizens facing such problems.
According to Rama, the fastest way is to draft an integrated project through this package, where within the same process the issue of legalizing the apartment can also be resolved.
The number one cabinet member has previously clarified the questions raised about the "Mountains Package", responding to the claims and uncertainties that have circulated regarding this initiative.
Rama emphasized that the package was not created for oligarchs, foreign investors or wealthy individuals, but mainly aims to resolve ownership issues for inherited lands in mountainous areas.
According to his explanation, one of the main conditions is that the person must prove that they have actually owned the land for at least 10 years.
In this way, owners are given the opportunity to formalize ownership and use the land for economic development.
