Italy's Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano says he had a long phone conversation with Elon Musk, who informed him that the supposed boski match against Mark Zuckerberg would not be in Rome.
It was Musk's idea to have the match take place on a Roman stage, and broadcast live and free on the former Twitter social network, now known as "X."
But the Italian minister seems to have cut his hopes. Sangiuliano also says two pediatric hospitals in Italy will receive a large donation, unnecessarily for the proceeds of the match of the two tech titans.
"Long and friendly conversation with Elon Musk on a major milestone of evolution. It will not be held in Rome. "There will be a large donation to two important Italian pediatric hospitals to strengthen the facilities and scientific research to fight diseases," Sangiuliano wrote.
