The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has accepted the latest political defeat regarding Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.

In the long-awaited conference, Vuccicc emphasized that his country is paying a high price because of the relationship with Russia.

"Western countries feel a lot of pressure due to the advance of Russian forces and the uncertainty of how the conflict in Ukraine will end and are under pressure from political messages from Moscow based on what is called the 'Kosovo precedent'. Precisely for this reason, it is a matter of removing Kosovo as a possible ace under Vladimir Putin's sleeve, and that is why we are targeting Pristina and those who have supported them", said Vučič.

The Serbian president spoke harshly in the direction of the American official Gabriel Escobar, the mediator Lajçak and especially Dora Bakojanis, who recommended the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe without additional conditions.

"Rapporteur Dora Bakojanis suddenly remembered that neither the expropriation of the land in the north of Kosovo nor the Association for the recommendation for admission to the Council of Europe for Pristina is important, but only the return of the land to the monastery of Deçan" , said Vuçiç.
