The "Spy" Paid by Serbia: How KIA Officials Were Photographed by Fehim

Fehim Sali appeared before the Basic Court in Pristina today, 14.08.2026, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of espionage. KALLXO.com has obtained the file of the Special Prosecution against the suspect, which describes the actions of the defendant.

The Prosecution's file states that the defendant Fehim Sali, from an unspecified date until his arrest on 13.08.2026, in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, intentionally and with the aim of material gain, in the capacity of a person recruited by the Intelligence Service of the Republic of Serbia, known as BIA, has provided continuous assistance to this foreign service, acting according to the orders and instructions of a senior BIA official.

Furthermore, according to the file, the suspect Fehim Sali provided information about the political situation in Kosovo, identified officials of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), and the same were photographed by the arrested person for the purpose of identifying them.

According to the SPRK, Sali provided information on individuals belonging to the Wahhabi sect and other individuals, whom he then proposed to the BIA official as potential targets for contact and recruitment.

According to the Special Prosecution's file, the suspect Fehim Sali has mediated on issues and documents related to the institutions of the Republic of Serbia, as well as established and maintained contacts with persons with political and social influence in Serbia and the Republic of Kosovo, from non-majority communities, to whom he has also provided instructions and guidance on how to act politically, all with the aim of securing, collecting and forwarding information of interest to the Serbian BIA and realizing the interests of this foreign intelligence service.

According to the prosecution, through these actions, the defendant acted contrary to the state interests of the Republic of Kosovo, thus violating and damaging the constitutional order and national security of the Republic of Kosovo.

Otherwise, the espionage suspect Fehim Sali is a teacher from the city of Dragash. Sali has been arrested on suspicion of the criminal offense of espionage, and a hearing against him is expected to be held today in the morning hours.

Fehim Salim was arrested on 13.08.2026 at one of the Kosovo border points. KALLXO.com learned from sources within the justice institutions that Fehim Sali was arrested by the country's authorities on suspicion of espionage.

Sali's arrest was made by order of the Special Prosecution of Kosovo at the border crossing in Merdare, a point in Podujeva.

"By order of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, police investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes, at the border crossing point in Merdare, Podujeva, have arrested a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, with the initials FS, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of 'Espionage'," the Special Prosecution's announcement said.
