Former President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted to the decision of the Democratic League of Kosovo to abandon any request for state positions and move into opposition, supporting the position previously announced by the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku.

Through a Facebook post, Osmani shared Abdixhiku's press conference and emphasized that the goal is to avoid new elections and elect a president who protects the Constitution.

"The Democratic League of Kosovo does not seek any position or participation in power, in order to avoid new elections and give the country a President of the Republic who protects the Constitution and the country. We are not here just for today. We are, above all, here for the generations that will come after us and they should not judge us for the power we took, but for the state we left them ," Osmani wrote on social networks.
