Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said on Friday that she had taken a drug test after a video was released earlier this week showing her partying with her friends.
She vowed that she had never used illegal drugs.
"Today I took a drug test and the results will come in a week," she said at a press conference. I have never used drugs in my life."
The video of Marin partying with her friends and famous Finnish artists started circulating on social media this week and was published by several media outlets in Finland and abroad.
Marin had faced calls for a drug test from politicians in her governing coalition as well as the opposition after the video emerged.
