Italian tourists have again become protagonists in the international media, they left a restaurant in Malta without paying the bill.
The Italian media writes: "It already seems like the norm. Customers eat their meal at the restaurant, then leave without paying the bill. After the embarrassment in Albania, where Prime Minister Meloni paid the bill out of her pocket, this time the group of Italians did not pay in Malta. The incident took place in Msida on August 25. But this time the "cunning" could not succeed."

With the excuse of smoking a cigarette, the group of young people got up from the table at "Pasta & Co" and left, they escaped while the bill of 100 euros remained unpaid.
One of the owners, an Italian, recognized the customers' Sicilian accent, so he contacted local newspapers to find the culprits. And the move paid off.
The father of one of the youths, who left the restaurant, recognized his son from the newspapers, despite their faces being covered.
"He called me asking for my details to pay the right amount," the restaurant owner told Corriere.
He told me that his son immediately repented, he was crying loudly. I told him that I really appreciated his gesture, that he was an honest man and an exemplary father, but he didn't need to pay off a 100 euro bill.
But he kept insisting, so I proposed to donate the amount to Arka, an organization on the island of Gozo that cares for people with disabilities.
He was very impressed by my idea and in the end he called me informing me that he had donated 250 euros. we then returned to the police and withdrew the complaint, concludes the owner of the bar./ Corriere
