At the Basic Court in Ferizaj today, the initial hearing was held against Dardan Krivaqa and Arbë Sejdi, suspected of murdering 18-year-old Marigona Osmani. In the courtroom with a large number of Special Unit forces, the two accused were brought. Krivaqa, in addition to the large police escort, was also wearing a bulletproof vest.

The whole process was followed closely by the parents of the now deceased, Marigona Osmani, as well as other family members. Neither of the two defendants pleaded guilty to the charges they are charged with.

Krivaqa used the right to defend himself in silence, while Sejdiu pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor of the case, Valdet Avdiu, read a part of the indictment.

"The defendant, Dardan Krivaqa, on August 21, 2021, in his apartment on 'Ramadan Rexhepi' street in Ferizaj, without her consent, forced the deceased, Marigona Osmani, to have sexual intercourse, which was accompanied by torture in the way that he initially saw she had sexual intercourse in the salon as she wished. After performing the sexual act, he undresses her and sends her to the bathroom."

"From there, he violently sends her to the bedroom, but over time, due to her serious health condition as a result of the violence, she loses her ability... And on two occasions, in the evening, sexual relations are performed, then naked and sends him to the bathroom and where his injuries are observed, which creates the criminal offense of 'rape'... The defendant, Arbër Sejdiu, on August 21, 2021, intentionally helps them commit the criminal offense of 'rape' in such a way that they first contact by phone and meet in city, then together, the defendant Arbër Sejdiu arrives as soon as he arrives, knowing that the defendant Dardan Krivaqa is now intentionally raping the deceased Marigona Osmani", says the indictment read by Avdiu.

Further, it is said that the accused tried to delete the video recordings of the cameras that were located in the apartment where the crime took place.

"The defendants, Dardan Krivaqa and Arbër Sejdiu, on August 22, 2021, in the apartment of the defendant, Dardan Krivaqa, on the street 'Ramadan Rexhepi' in Ferizaj, intentionally and with complicity in order to conceal the criminal offense, deprived the now deceased of her life, Marigona Osmani, with whom the first defendant was in an extramarital relationship".

"From 10:56 a.m. to 2:43 p.m., the first defendant took a stick and together with the second defendant entered the room, in which case they caused great physical and mental injuries to him, where he suffered polytrauma from the blow. multiple injuries where death is directly caused by mechanical asphyxia as well as hemorrhagic and traumatic shock which are the result of external and internal bleeding from the fracture of the shaft of the lower jaw-mandible, then the fracture of the left clavicle ribs, neck rings, epidural and subdural bleeding in the back of the cerebrum and in the cerebellum, as well as the partial rupture of the spinal cord in the neck, they then send him to the Emergency General Hospital of Ferizaj and leave from there", he said Avdi.

After the end of the court session, the defense of the Osmani family, Gazmend Rexhepi, said that the condition of the family members of the deceased, Marigona Osmani, is serious.

"As it can be seen, we will proceed with the elaboration of the evidence and we will see the case to the end, according to all possibilities... You saw them yourself, the same as the guilty declaration, as innocent, their condition is the same, in a serious condition" , said Rexhepi.
