Shocking footage has been released of the shooting death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. As seen in the videos below, Shinzo Abe was giving a speech when a person shot him from behind.

Security guards are also seen trying to stop the bullets with their bags, though it was too late after the bullet had hit Abe.

Cameras focused on Abe as he delivered a political speech in the city of Nara at 11:30 a.m. (local time). A few minutes after he started to speak in front of the audience, he was shot.

Shortly thereafter, security personnel rush to 41-year-old perpetrator Tetsuya Yamagami and neutralize him. The assassination of the former prime minister has shocked Japan.
