The Minister of Health, Klodiana Spahiu, has visited the police officers who were injured during the violent protest in Tirana and are receiving treatment at the University Trauma Hospital.

Through a post on her official Facebook page, Spahiu announced that within 30 minutes, six injured officers had arrived at the hospital, bringing the number of police officers presented to the emergency room to nine.

According to the minister, one of them, 31 years old, is in serious condition, with serious eye injuries and severe fractures to his jaw and nose.

"I am at the University Trauma Hospital, where 6 injured police officers have arrived in 30 minutes, bringing the number of them in the emergency room to 9."

Violence against police officers is intolerable and seriously endangers their safety and health.

"Support and gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all healthcare staff, who are caring with professionalism and dedication for every injured person," Spahiu wrote on Facebook.
