Minister Blendi Gonxhja has reacted to the protest, condemning acts of violence and damage to public institutions.

Through a statement, he emphasized that the right to protest is inviolable, but cannot be used as a justification for arson, destruction, or acts of violence.

Gonxha stated that no barricade can stop Albania's European path, describing "destabilization" as an action that harms the public interest. He called on student organizations, student councils and academic senates to distance themselves from violent acts and contribute to preserving the peaceful character of the protest.

The Minister also emphasized the protection of monuments, museums and cultural objects, underlining that they represent the history and national identity of Albanians.

Minister Blendi Gonxhja's reaction to the protest:

No barricade can stop Albania's European path! The right to protest is inviolable, but it does not give anyone the right to use violence, set fires or destroy. Institutions do not belong to parties: they belong to citizens and attacks on them seriously violate public order and interest! Self-righteousness, hatred, chaos are neither solutions nor alternatives! The agenda of destabilization serves only anti-Albanian interests, at the highest historical moment of our democratic, national and integrative progress!

Student organizations, student councils and academic senates must urgently distance themselves from these acts and commit to preserving the peaceful nature of the protest. Silence in the face of violence leaves room for the wolves of the past and the enemies of European Albania.

Special attention should be paid to the protection of cultural objects, monuments and museums: Organizers and participants must avoid any action that could endanger these assets. They carry our history, memory and identity and belong to all Albanians. No cause can justify the violation of our national wealth.
