Tirana has been burning for two days.

Today, protesters have attacked not only the country's main institutions, but also various businesses.

And rightly so, socialist ministers and MPs have reacted to stop the violence (the DP and the opposition certainly do not want this, but rather an escalation of the situation, with the aim of overthrowing the Government).

What surprises you is the silence of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

He has not made any reaction either yesterday or today, nor to protect institutions and businesses, but nor has he attacked the protesters, as he usually does.

He just keeps quiet, leaving the entire "battle" against the protesters to Taulant Balla.

In such a situation, every prime minister has a duty and must react.

Publicly, not at tables!

Because state institutions and employees are being attacked, in this case the police, who seem to be left at the mercy of fate in the face of the protesters.

The Prime Minister should speak up and respond to the protesters with arguments, not with his usual lynching and insulting language.

Even if they are from the DP or the opposition. They are also citizens of this country.

It is understandable that Rama finds it difficult at these moments to speak and maintain a true statesmanlike stance, as he has throughout these months when the protests began, because their demand is his "head".

And Rama does not negotiate on this point!

But in these moments, when the situation has gotten out of control and Tirana is burning, he must speak.

In words, but also in deeds.

Because businesses are being attacked and life has become difficult for all citizens, who today cannot go out on the streets of Tirana!
