As a result of the cooperation between specialists from the Interpol Tirana Directorate and their counterparts in Brazil, during this phase of the operation codenamed "The Wanted", the procedure for the extradition from Brazil to Albania of citizen Artef Lekaj, 67 years old, resident of Shkodra, was finalized.

This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Shkodra Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction sentenced him to 26 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Sexual or homosexual relations with minors" and "Sexual harassment", a decision which was made final by the Tirana Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction.

During the period 2020-2021, citizen AL sexually harassed a 10-year-old minor and sexually abused another 15-year-old minor.

 After extradition from Brazil, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat executed the criminal decision of the Court of Appeal.
