Debates on territorial reform have brought about retorts in the Assembly between Socialist Party MP Zegjine Çaushi and Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi.

During her speech, Çaushi addressed the opposition MP in ironic tones, accusing him of using the concerns of the citizens of Fier for political rhetoric.

The socialist MP asked Baçi not to pretend to care about the fairs, claiming that citizens have grown tired of his stances over the years.

She did not spare any irony towards the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, suggesting to Baç that he leave the protection of the interests of the citizens of Fier to him.

"Mr. Baci, stop the political rhetoric because you have fed the Fieraks for so many years. Don't act like your soul is crying, amen, leave it to the leader of the group because he is more concerned about the Fieraks," said Çaushi.

The replies took place during the plenary session, where territorial reform has become one of the main issues of conflict between the majority and the opposition.
