Today's plenary session will focus on the new territorial map with 46 municipalities, which has been continuously opposed by the opposition.
The new division with 15 fewer municipalities does not even have the approval of the two socialists, Erion Braçe and Vullnet Sinaj, making their vote decisive since 84 votes are needed to be approved.
To meet the necessary number of votes, Prime Minister Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku are also expected to be present at the session, with significant absences in the plenary hall at this time.
The opposition has declared that it will hold protests inside and outside the Parliament. At the same time as the session begins, at 10:00, the Flamingos protest will also be held, but it is not yet clear whether the opposition will seek to join them.
In addition to these developments, the agenda is expected to be quite busy, with 4 interpellations, one at the request of the DP to the Minister of Interior regarding the proportionality of the police response to the protesters. Two others, one requested by the socialist Ermal Pacaj and one by the leader of the PL group, Tedi Blushi, ask questions to Minister Enea Karakaçi about the Milot-Balldre highway and the floating TECs in Vlora, 'Tigri 1' and 'Tigri 3.'
Blushi has also requested an interpellation with the Minister of Finance on reducing the prices of basic products and protecting purchasing power.
The agenda also includes 8 other draft laws in addition to 'Territorial', as well as 2 draft decisions, one of them for the establishment of an investigative commission for 'KAYO.'
