Socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj has changed his position regarding the new territorial reform.

Sources for Euronews Albania indicate that Sinaj voted in favor of the new territorial map during the meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, which took place this morning in the plenary session hall.

Sinaj had previously voted against the draft within the parliamentary group, expressing reservations about the proposal that envisages reducing the number of municipalities from 61 to 46, through the merger and unification of 15 municipalities.

Meanwhile, regarding the other Socialist MP, Erion Braçe, the same sources indicate that he did not vote either for or against the draft during today's meeting.

Today's vote comes after the previous stance of the two MPs, who at the parliamentary group meeting held earlier this week had voted against the new territorial map.
