Note/ What was already known was confirmed today: the Freedom Party is not free, but it is the party of Iliri.

The (non) Freedom Party gathered the leadership structures today to choose the new leadership forums, some status changes, as well as the political program of the party.

But the only candidate to lead the party was Ilir Meta. The latter had not even cared to give the process some seriousness with a formal rival figure, but apparently the fear of an incident made Meta not even care about the details.  

Asked about the fact that he was the only candidate for the head of the PL, Meta justified himself by saying that he sees it as an indication of the confidence of the members in his leadership.

"It was announced 100 days ago that there will be elections for party leader and structures, I thank the organizing committee that completed the mission. Today, everyone will vote in secret. We cannot invent candidates and we do not run fictitious races. Indicator of members' confidence in my leadership. I will justify it with maximum responsibility", said Meta.

And while he accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of governing alone, describing the government as a regime, today Ilir Meta, who tends to be an alternative for Albanians, gave the worst example, showing that his party is a "military barracks", where he himself he rules with an iron hand, while in the leadership structures there are some lackeys who do not dare to have a different opinion from him.

So today it was finally confirmed that the Freedom Party only has the name 'free', as it is a family party run by the Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi family. It would be the most appropriate way to avoid damage and paper for fake voting with envelopes.
