There is an attempt by Ilir Meta, a week after leaving the president's office, to turn into a corruption whistleblower. It is a good thing, even if it is a hypocrisy, as it creates the climate that corruption must be punished and SPAK, which deals with anti-corruption battles, feels freer to act.

But the coincidence is bad and looks more like a pressure on SPAK than a help for SPAK. It has to do with the fact that SPAK has been handed a serious file for abuses and financial "agents" at the address of Ilir Meta's party, by a member of their family, employed in a government concession by Berisha, continued later from the "Rama" government.

TemA newspaper learned that SPAK has started the investigation of the case and the provable facts directly link the Meta family, LSI and two businessmen who control this concession through LSI, with the financing of LSI.

It is about the SGS concession, which was granted by the "Berisha" government and was taken over by LSI after 2013, appointing a key person of the Meta family there.

Now this investigation has entered a serious spiral and it is very difficult to take steps back from the pressure of LSI. What Ilir Meta is trying to do, is to relativize SPAK's attack, by inventing daily denunciations that seem to be more public blackmail than real denunciations.

The idea is that when SPAK acts on the denunciations addressed to Ilir Meta, he should count the public demonstrations of the "worker bee" of the LSI, to protect himself that only he is being investigated.

I do not want to push here the credible suspicions that the anti-corruption noise is a campaign of fines against those who have fallen out of line as clients for years. They can also become the object of investigation by SPAK. But what is a fact and can be proven, is that the investigation against the Meta family has been initiated in SPAK and he is trying to blackmail SPAK and relativize the anti-corruption strikes.

This is the truth of Ilir Meta's anti-corruption rhetoric, which is as corrupt as his corruption stories. The fact that the LSI stuck in the minds of Albanians as a group of thieves was not the fault of the sigla, but of the president and the president. They never change in that party, despite the slogans.
