It took several hours for most of the media to publish the news that the Dossier Authority has found Ilir Meta, a security collaborator, some published it with initials, others did not publish it at all.

The source of the information was official and public, and for an uncaptured media, an official verification, or through sources, was enough.

This is what Voxnews.al did, which confirmed through sources that the senior official in question was Ilir Meta, and just a few minutes after the Authority's statement, it released the news with name, surname and photo that Ilir Meta was an associate of the Security.

Why didn't the others do it? The answer is no longer related to incompetence, or the lack of information and human resources, because the news was given half-heartedly and dryly even by the so-called big media.

The answer is the capture of the media by Ilir Meta and the latter obeyed him. That's what Fabian Topollaj from Bindja Demokratike thinks.

"The Dossier Authority announced more than 3 hours ago that a senior politician of the country turned out to have been a collaborator of the state security and, moreover, to have hidden this fact for 30 years in a row. But that's not the case anymore serious. The most scandalous thing is that almost more than half of the country's media act as if they have not heard this information and do not broadcast it to the public" , writes Topollaj.
